The kids are on Spring Break, my work schedule is totally up in the air, and I forgot to plan blog posts … you see where I’m going with this? So, in honour of my lack of planning, let’s play;
10 THINGS YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW ABOUT ME
1. I can’t stand chai with malai (milk skin) on it. I go to extreme lengths to ensure I never have to drink or see malai.
2. I almost never wear earrings and a necklace at the same time because it makes me feel overdressed.
3. My all-time favourite TV show was Alias {because I’d like to have a double life as a spy}
4. I can’t whistle. It’s a skill I just can’t wrap my brain around – just like blowing raspberries, can’t do that either.
5. I sometimes re-read The Babysitters Club books when I need a brain break.
6. I was a avid dancer until I was 17, and wanted to be a choreographer in Bollywood films.
7. I’m addicted to rearranging furniture. My husband is no longer surprised when he comes home and the sofa, dining table, or an entire bedroom suit has been moved. He also no longer asks – how did you move all that?
8. My favourite place to work is the library..
9. My favourite Hindi song of all time is from a Mithun Chakraborthy & Madhuri Dixit movie. {If anyone can guess the song I swear, I’ll mail you a prize!}
10. The one historical figure I wish I could have dinner with is Waris Shah – the poet who wrote Heer Ranjha, which is my favourite story of all time.
So, any guesses on #9? Leave your guess in the comments below and I’ll let you know if you are right!
PS: The picture above is super old {pre-haircut} and taken by Aziz Dhamani while we were goofing around on a client shoot!
#9 – Pyaar se bhi zaada 😉
Pyar kabhi kam nahi karna?
(didn’t know how many madhuri mithun songs there were until you brought it up!)
Ditto on never wearing the earrings and necklace together (except when I am all dressed up). #9: Pyaar Kabhi Kam Nahi Kare Na’ (Prem Pratigya)
I just love simple posts like this. They are so fun to read. When I wear a necklace I wear small pearl or diamond studs, just because I have always felt incomplete without any earrings. And when I wear medium to large earrings, I don’t wear a necklace either.
Kukudo ku I love you?
